Ooo this is clever. nice puzzler. the escalation of difficulty is pretty extreme, I would have like to see the characters I figured out in the first level help me in the second. slower difficulty ramp I guess.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD55 → Deceptive Summoning

Thx for recognition and nice suggestions! Maybe we will make the puzzle more concrete and logically related later.
cool!
This is a nice puzzle game. The graphics look nice and the animations/gravity on the items look fun too. It would be nice to have more clarity on what are the different 'aspects' although I figured it out after finally passing the first level. The soundtrack is fun, but more effects when you spawn items or when they land on the pile would definitely push the feel of the game more. Maybe some jibberish talking or chanting of the tribe would also add to the feel you are dealing with a tribe. I wish there was a little bit more room for mistakes, although I loved the laptop with the arrows through it for the bad ending. Maybe if instead of going 'game over' work with a score system in which you have unlimited tries, but the higher your score the worse your ending becomes. Overall, great fun entry and keep up the great work!
Love the art style. Indeed the puzzle could have a better ramp-up in difficulty.
Very interesting visual effects. The increase in difficulty really stumped me. Looking forward to someone playing to the end to share! But as if the game isn't immersive enough? It's not obvious in terms of the storyline, maybe it would be more interesting to have a branching ending at the end, I need more time to experiment. Great game!
Very interesting concept. I agree with the previous comments suggesting a slower escalation of difficulty to make it a so the player gets more familiar with the different symbols by encountering them. Neat proof of concept though!
Clever little game! I really liked the idea of trying to interpret unknown language by trial and error! One little thing I'd like this agme to have is some kind of easier progression? Right now it is possible to fail even with the best item selection strategy
I love the concept of the game. That said, because the language is the same each time, it feels like you have to play each level multiple times until you gather enough information to figure out the symbols, giving me little feedback on my actual cleverness in being able to figure it out. For that reason, I would love if symbology changed between plays.
