Nice game.
Всем советую поиграть, тащемта например
The link on the page here says "source code" where you have linked your itch.io page
Also sadly, the UI only seems to be in cyrillic, which I can't read, and overall it was very difficult to understand what I was even doing
Cool concept tho! A fairly serious take / topic for a game jam, I liked it-
The start button only register clicks if you press on very left of it. Almost did not manage to start it. Also, it's not very clear what to do. Tooltips in cyrillic alphabet don't help
Also, you know that we see that you are praising your own game in comments, right? ;)
@snekofspice There are 3 buttons in the menu, start the game at the top, sound settings in the middle, exit at the bottom. The point of the game is to last as long as possible in the game itself, there are 3 resources that are shown on the in-game panel in front of the player, there is electricity, air and ice, you need to keep the balance of these resources in order to live, and to do this you need to press the valve and the lever on the sides. Also, sometimes a meteorite flies at the player, it can be stopped either by a laser shot or by turning on the shields, the button on the front and the lever are responsible for this
@shad If you don’t praise yourself, no one will! thanks for the comments!
Good job with the theme ! Maybe you should just add some sfx to have alerts before dying
I really like how the doors to the electricity and O2 cabinets actually obscure parts of the display while they are open. Not only does it make the game feel more claustrophobic, but gameplay wise it actually adds an addition function to having the door open - you can no longer see how your actions inside the door impact some of your resource monitors. This added an additional challenge when figuring out how the game worked, but was also a great way of making the small space of the spaceship important in terms of game mechanics.
I wish there was a bit more complexity regarding how the resources were used / refilled, and potentially a few more events I would be challenged to respond to other than the meteorite, but the basic gameplay was pretty interesting. Felt a bit like a Five Nights at Freddy's game.
Decent game, although I never managed to evade the asteroid. It came up rather quickly the first couple times. The mentioned button or lever didn't help me, as the lever did nothing and I couldn't find any button. Overall I liked the concept though, but it could use a bit more fine-tuning.
Lol... What happened? I just was clicking buttons and didn't know what to do, but after the meteor hits me))
