The Last Day of Pompeii

Interesting puzzle game where you race to survive and save as many Pompeiians as you can.

Compliments on the art, music and the atmosphere, I loved how it gets darker/more orange as lava approaches.

There were no sounds in the intro cutscene, which might be a bug!

I don't see any connection with the theme thought... You only have 10 seconds to play, but nothing happens every 10 seconds. You might have flooded a section of the town with lava every 10 seconds, for example.

Oh, and the game over screen is a tad too long. If I lose, I want to get back into it as soon as possible. First time it brought up the atmosphere but after that it was a bit tedious.

Good atmosphere and cohesive visuals and audio. Did the areas overflow every 10 seconds, or how were the theme used? I'm a little unclear about that.

But nice entry for the jam :)
