After walking into dark for a while I was expecting some things to jump on me :). Got at the moment where a girl cries, but nothing happens. The hardest probably was to go through the moving hammers in the dark. Curios, is the overall "descend into madness" a reference to some Lovecraftian lore? :)

Nice job! I was fully expecting a horror game from the thumbnail and opening level, but was really suprised by the platforming and cool world designs. The Tori gate was also super well made. Great job!

I was also expecting a horror game and was surprised  The idea is really great, the levels are not super hard but not really easy, my only frustration came from the flashlight and the lighting in the Egypt on Mars level. It was very dark, I think a little too much. I loved the night sky and the surroundings in general ♥

@cpv Thank you for the comment, in the room with the girl there should be a red button on the right wall, it can be easy to miss. You press "e" on it and it lifts the gate. We didn't actually think of its connection to Lovecraftian but it's definitely a great missed opportunity!

@frostfall Thank you! My team and I are very proud of how it turned out, we were going for a different scene in every level to emphasise the "descend into madness", I'd love to take the credit for the Tori gate but that was actually a free asset on Unity Store. I believe it was called "Japanese Garden Pack".

@molpe Thank you for giving the game a go and even providing a gameplay video, it was great to watch and much appreciated feedback. The Mars level can be quite dark at times, the light actually rotates in that level so some areas are only very visible when light shines in the right direction at them. We made a majority of the assets ourselves but the sky in particular is actually a free asset pack on Unity Store called "Skybox Series Free".

Wow, what an atmosphere! Man, this was one of the games i played for this LD where the game was still stuck in my mind long after playing! Great game, considering also the LD Time Limit! It would be nice if you could check out my game as well! :)
