Very cute graphics, loved the little breath cloud that the knight had. The mobs could have had some kind of dying animation, maybe the same kind of flash that the knight does when he takes damage. First I was confused why they just disappeared when I killed them. Maybe also something could change with deeper levels, darker surroundings and/or more mobs?

Maybe some text to explain the keyboard keys. You can have them written on the wall to avoid adding to much code.
