I found it hard to get the ball rolling since in most circumstances the ball was on a totally flat surface. You could fix this by having more sloped regions in the levels to help player build moment. Also, some sort of "boost" on player command could help bootstrap motion.

Thank you for your advice. There are several platforms with only one degree angle in the game. The purpose of the completely flat platform is to let players choose their own direction first. I also want to add guidance, but I don't have a good idea and enough time.:)
For your first LD game: this is a really good job! The drawing is a cool mechanic, if not a little clunky.
I do want to say though, there were a few things that really made it hard for me to enjoy. Mainly, the shadow effect. There's times where it looks really nice, but it's usually a problem, as it makes it really hard to see upcoming obstacles, or to see what their hitboxes are.
With a bit of polish, this could be a really fun little game!
