That is quite good for a second jam, I found the extremely floaty physics quite hard to get used to at first but they worked out decently later as they gave more leniency to my jumps. I would recommend adding a simple background music loop (for creation, Bosca Ceoil is very easy to use) and maybe spicing up the graphics with some free assets to give the game a bit more personality. There are other areas that need work such as the collision with walls giving you another jump, the beak of the toucan getting stuck on objects and so on but I think just participating in more jams and perhaps watching a few tutorials to speed up basic mechanics will help out a great deal. If you go to my itch.io page for example, you will see my first and second game jam games (This is my second) and you may notice the deifference as I learnt to limit my scope, draw a bit and how to make basic systems (Camera, Player controller, physics, menus) quite quickly.
