Hey man! I like your game! Your idea is dang solid. You made the fire into a living element, something you have to interact with in more ways than one to gain more heat, in contrary to just picking up leaves and branches and having them disappear into an inventory. Nice job! If I could vote, I'd give the thematics a solid 5/5! Given that it's a compo game, the other scores would be pretty high too! EDIT: To add to this, by keeping the fire alive, you're keeping yourself alive, the "it" in the theme appearing twice. That's quite an amazing idea!

This has some good starts! I found some real inconsistencies with how high I could jump. If I was ever on the bottom, I had to just give up, since there was no way to get back up for me. Holding shift sometimes gave me more height, and sometimes didn't. The overlay also made it hard to find a way back up. If the goal is to just make the player feel hopeless, then you're achieving that mood here, I think. With some level design polish, I think you could make this into a fun little game :)
