cleowillo 2019-04-30 14:08

cleowillo 2019-04-30 14:08

was set on draft, sorry

conroy 2019-04-30 14:20

So downloaded and played your game, as you said many bhugs, but hey man! you made a game and thats awesome! good job!

cleowillo 2019-04-30 14:37

Thanks man, I plan on refining it and posting the update on itch, thnx for trying it out still @conroy

soggybreadhands 2019-04-30 23:19

the character movement is pretty good in terms of mechanics, and I liked the terrain, good job!

potatuetata 2019-05-01 11:18

A nice terrain, and I mean, you made a game so be proud of you ^^

cleowillo 2019-05-01 11:38

Thanks @potatuetata my objective was to push the bounds of my limit to see what I could produce for 3D games and I did! Most of it I leanrt while I was doing it, n these are stuff that I previously tried and took me 1 month with no success so I feel quite accomplished o my end, just wanted to replicate a sense of interaction on yours(players) tho.

cleowillo 2019-05-01 11:43

wow! I really feel good about the compliment on the terrain, because I always for myself lacking in that area of development, I learn a lot from it. The character mechanics went smoothly as I wanted(could be better too :) Thanks for letting me know @soggybreadhands

dock-frankenstein 2019-05-01 17:18

The game looks so good. The droid guy is so cool, but there's only the test map. I fell out of the word. Enemies can't see me and there's nothing to do. Well, but at the end this is unfinished.

cleowillo 2019-05-02 05:31

First off, thank you for taking some time to comment on the game.. it really warms my heart. Secondly, Yea sadly I hadn't got the enemy AI script to work as well, which I will be fixing in future updates(In the coming week hopefully) I have done some obvious bug cleanups like overlapping audios, unresponsive UI and passing through trees, I've even implemented esc to close the application now

postshot 005.png

I will add in a neat lil system that will replace the bounding and falling off terrain issue, I hope u can try it back then. Thanks tho!Can follow up on itch if your interested in the it too @franciszek-pyrc

korteh 2019-05-03 19:05

you submitted something, this is already a victory in its own right, next time try smaller scope, like 1 screen arcade

pcoridan 2019-05-04 21:28

Probably want to go a little smaller scope next time, however keep this code around, because honestly the controls and camera felt great. I could see this being pretty fun. Keep it up

cleowillo 2019-05-05 15:00

Yes, I surely will @korteh . My onjective for this Jam was to push all bounds, but you're right next time I'll focus in on gameplay and smoothness on Player's end. Thanks for the advice

cleowillo 2019-05-05 15:04

thank you @pcoridan I'm pretty proud of it as well, I'm glad you could see the potential in it, I surely will be using it in other 3D games for sure! I will be doing something smaller next time too. Most of what I utilized in the jam was "as I learnt" so that's my reason for feeling even more accomplished.
