Hello! i think the idea is fairly good, however i think there are plenty of things that could be improved like the graphics not being only box shapes, also the player moved too slow and the enemy bullets looked too similar to the player ones, and most importantly that you didn't use the sacrifice theme at all which was this ludum dare purpose. hope this feedback will be of some use to you :)
@cigsandflowers Thanks for the feedback! I did put in the post above how we interpreted the theme and used it. Also, we treated this game much like a proof of concept. It's definitely not a great standalone game, but we think it's a good starting point to build an actual game off of, if we wanted to. Thank you for taking the time to play it and leave feedback!
