Movement isn't working right for me, actually all the timing feels off. I can only move maybe a couple pixels after course of a minute. Whenever I fire my gun the bullets only go about the length of my ship or so then disappear. And all of the enemies are moving in molasses or something.

@tinamil: Thanks for the feedback, thats a strange issue, seemingly limited to Windows. The HTML5 and macOS versions appear to be running fine, at least for me. Will investigate further.

very nice graphics and general feel, fun to play.

Hi good job on completing the game. I like the graphics and control. Game play is a bit difficult the big ships don't seem to die out.

I like the look and feel of the game. The dialogue was confusing in part because it's hard to distinguish the "characters" - so you don't know who's talking, or even which ship is the friendly.

It's satisfying to fire at the enemy ships, though. They have an interesting movement pattern, that's the important part. Shooting games are so reliant on making the enemy waves do interesting things.

It looks cool and feels good, but I have NO idea what's going on... "if no enemy touches us" means? To build the bar all the way to the top by avoiding enemy fire for x time? But when I die and come back via continue that bar is full... And still nothing happens? I don't know. I see sometimes my shots become epic but I don't know why. I see the green things are pickups but I don't know what they do.

The player movement feels slow and cumbersome. The "you're always moving down" thing feels... unnecessary? I don't know. Distracting. The player hitbox is probably too big, it feels impossible to dodge things - classic arcade shmup games like 1942 and Jamestown tend to have a tiny player hitbox so that it feels good to dodge hordes of shots.

The player aiming feels like a distraction more than a feature. I basically left the cursor on the enemy for most of the game, sometimes I'd move it but I feel like that should all be taken care of by the game automatically because it's not really that interesting. And again, distracting. I want to focus on the fun bits of the game, which is in this case dodging, mostly.

Again, gorgeous. But I don't understand the game and it feels slow and frustrating.

Game feels slow but it looks pretty cool! nice concept. I will say a little more clarification on whats happening will help. For future can be done with sound and visual. A visual/sound for when player is hit will help. Could be a fun little arcade concept if you go ahead with the project.

Not bad. Took a game or two to figure out how it worked and was pretty fun to play. Also, you get points for shooting the ship you are supposed to help.
