Interesting concept. If there were smart opponents and you could collide with them, the thinning track would really stir things up.
As it is now it is very hard. In my first run I steered off the road way too hard. In the second run it was better, but still the first flash was too early. It would have been nice to anticipate how much time (and track) is left.
Otherwise, it is fun to learn the controls: They can be surprisingly accurate.

The controls were definitely hard to understand at first, and it's possible the fact that I only have a trackpad made it worse! My laptop additionally had trouble handling the start when all the cars emerged. I wish that it was clearer from the beginning which car is the player-car. I think it's an interesting idea for sure

The controls are interesting. With the mouse its different. The bots are not very smart and it lagged my computer when they all appeared. ALso it seems that there is no end as my car continues endlessly to drive. Wish the idea would have been better exploited. Nice try.
@tg1397 reduced amount of cars.
@corbak tweaked AI values to make them more balanced; There is no end (well, there sorta is), this is a 48-hour game (most of which I spent sleeping) and I didn't exactly have time to work on that since I spent about 3 hours trying to make the AI smarter (which ended up being way more difficult than anticipated and I actually never even got working)
@halfmule colliding with them is an interesting idea but would've taken a lot of time (which I didn't have). I made the player easily identifiable and added a track meter (which I hope isn't against the rules, I mean c'mon it literally took ~1 minute).
