Your link is broken ('We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our Terms of Service' according to google), be sure to fix it and put it back up so others can play and rate your game!

divy 2018-04-28 15:01

Thank you @Autumnotopia

I am fixing the link now!

divy 2018-04-28 15:09

@Autumnotopia I fixed the link! It should be working now.

autumnotopia 2018-04-28 18:08

Haha I hate to say it, but it's still giving the same error. You could maybe try uploading it to itch.io or gamejolt and see if that works? Google for some reason seems to keep flagging it.

crabman 2018-04-29 19:52

Yup, same issue. What did you make your game with?

divy 2018-04-29 20:53

I made it with unity @crabman

divy 2018-04-29 20:54

This is annoying

crabman 2018-04-29 21:02

That's strange, can't imagine what Google might find fishy about your build then. But as @Autumnotopia suggested, try uploading to itch.io

divy 2018-04-29 22:25

@Crabman @Autumnotopia I changed the link to a dropbox link. I hope it works now.

crabman 2018-04-29 23:01

Yes, it works. Well then, congrats on your first LD!

In terms of feedback, it is as you say quite basic, but what mostly made it a bit confusing to me was for one, that the compass didn't have a clear indicator which end is the pointer, and secondly, the camera. I don't know if I missed anything there, but not being able to turn it was a bit of a hindrance, especially since the object was always to the direction I couldn't look in, so I would come up against mountain walls that the camera then went behind, making the terrain I wanted to climb invisible. The ball rotating on collision with the terrain also messed with the controls quite a bit. Oh, and having the time count down instead of up might make the time limit clearer.

But these are simple fixes. Still, well done on finishing your first jam!

@Crabman Thanks for your feedback!

This does not look like a completed game, but I am glad you are enjoing the making process. Good luck and great time next LD.

divy 2018-04-30 01:30

@Emmitt It is completed. I have no more ideas for what to add.

autumnotopia 2018-04-30 05:38

Good job on getting something uploaded and playable! That really is one of the hardest parts. The concept is interesting, but I can't tell what of the controls was intentional or unintentional (As another commenter said, the ball rotating messes with the controls). Overall, I was not able to successfully find the object, but I appreciate that the game did have a definite end instead of going on and on forever!

@Autumnotopia Thank you for your feedback!

gonz0 2018-05-13 23:33

Congrats on finishing, good job. Game needs a little more work nice concept though, You should have used a rolling sphere to navigate maybe, still good effort.

divy 2018-05-22 01:30
