The only link you have is source code? Is there a playable file or better yet an html build?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD40 → Snake Jam

BUILD IT
My colleague has uploaded the game and appears to have exported the game as a work file. Sorry for the inconvenience and I will fix this as soon as I can. For now I will mark the game as unfinished. Thanks for your feedback, however. This was both of our's first attempts to create a game, and in hindsight it would have been important for us to had more practise. I'll see what I can do.
Improve on the collision. Maybe show more of the keys in the game? Make a killzone at the bottom of the map
@dragonfyzex Thank you for your feedback! We intend to keep working on these as our efforts go forward in our own time. Unfortunately as we are mostly inexperienced the collision it was being unexpectedly tricky. It's something we're sure to target in later practise.
Great effort on your first try! I think you guys should pick another button for jump than the 'w' key, platformers tend to avoid what would be considered the "up" key for jump.
@angrydrgn Oh, really? I see... Well, the majority of the simple platformer-like games I have played do use those schemes of controls, or instead, use space. Although in this circumstance space isn't really an option, nor is 2-handed play, as the player would need the convenience of having one hand on the mouse to select what option of stat progression they'd prefer when they die (not that the feature was ever completed). I'll see what I can do in future, however. Perhaps send me an example?
