The visuals are pretty nice, and it's one of the few LD40 games where I can actually see the theme being implemented.
What a nice game !
I really enjoyed the "puzzle" mechanic, it was really fun an clever. Design, sound, controls everything is right.
Main problem : I feel like the spells don't alway go the way the arrows are pointing. No problem when it up/down/left/right but when it's other directions it becomes a bit weird. I've place myself right next to an ennemy with the arrow pointing toward him and it went under him to hit one the monsters. Also the monsters hitboxes may be a bit too big.
I also found the fact you have to use ALL your spells a bit weird. It's usually just a matter of going in a corner (since there's not much directions left when you killed everyone), but I'm just nitpicking.
This is overall a good game and could easily become really great without the arrow-spell difference. Congratulations on the entry !
