Nice first time! you could try to fix a little the walking sfx
It was a bit hard getting out of the opening text, and camouflage doesnt seem to do anything? Cute concept though!
Although the game has simple mechanics its a bit confusing at the begining (I dont understand the camouflage very well...), but it is colorful and with a message to tell. Nice game for your first time!
The camouflage mechanic doesn't feel very useful. It makes it so that I don't lose but it seems like the enemies still follow me so I'll lose eventually. I ended up winning by just getting the first generator then outrunning the enemies to get the rest. Maybe if the camouflage mechanic did something to distract enemies so that you can run away it would feel better to use.
An interesting attempt at social commentary through gaming, although I think the simplistic mechanics don't completely do justice to or fully overlap with the complex social issues described. I figured out how to avoid the cops after dying four or five times, and the rainbow cloaking does help. I wonder if the compo rules for art were followed - there's a disconnect between the trees and the cool pixel art stuff and then the simplicity of the players, lights, and cops.
Thx so much for feedbacks guys!
