Hoy!

Just played two rounds, here are my thoughts:

You have to give more feedback to the players: as an example it doesn't feel good when I fire. There is no sounds, no particles... ==> Playing a tank, i WANT to feel powerfull!

The main issue is that the vehicle feels like it's a toy: would be great to hear and feel the engines, otherwise it just doesn't do the trick.

I also think that the turret is too slow to turn, as the level is quite small (with narrow streets, ect...), it's mostly a melee fight with the bot. So you have to react quickly, but the turret prevent you to aim as fast as you wish.

It's quite surprising to find pretty much the exact same problems here than in my previous LD entry ( you can have a look here if you want to understand what I mean by this: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-36/?action=preview&uid=110831 )

The point is that a tank is quite clumsy to drive, and it just doesn't fit well in some game systems. I fell like you wanted to do a quite fast-paced game (seing the quite small and narrow map), where you want to use cover, dodge the ennemy bullets ect...But a tank doesn't fit this role well: it ends up being quite static and frustrating (you can't keep a constant DPS while moving, as you won't be able to see where you go).

Otherwise it's working smoothly, and the graphics are OK (with more content and polish, it would look quite good I think). But remember, you have to make sure that the "core" gameplay feels right and coherent before anything.
