I actually never knew about Indiexpo until now! But no, It's not on Indiexpo. We just submited the game to the LDjam 38 event.
Hey! Good job! I didn't really see any incentive to switch between day and night but it looked AWESOME. And I die really fast every time. Maybe because you don't see the enemies on the top as quick as enemies from the sides, so clowns from the top are sort of devastating. Cool idea though, like I said, well done!
Thank you for your feedback and for taking time to play our game! We barely had any time in the end to properly balance everything and make all things completely useful. So the game is a bit hard, and the Star skill is the most useful one. There are two enemies which are a Sun and a Moon respectively from Wave 6 onwards that run away from the dark and the light. Also, the seeds which you need in order to level up only grow in the sunlight! For now, in this Game Jam build, it's the biggest (and almost the only) incentive to turn night and day arround. Thank you, once more!
