This game is pretty cool. I like how each level is themed after a different painting, and changing the music for each level is a nice touch. I also like how each level has its own little gimmick to it based off of the painting. The controls do feel really off though, especially the jumping. Here's a guide on 2D platformer controls I look to all the time: http://higherorderfun.com/blog/2012/05/20/the-guide-to-implementing-2d-platformers/

Also, you can play the levels in any order, but the game seems to end after playing the teleporter level no matter what order you play the levels in. Despite these issues, I had a good time playing through this entry.

Also, if you weren't aware since this is your first Ludum Dare, you need to play, rate, and comment on other people's games in order for your game to get on the front page. Otherwise, nobody will see your game. I found your game specifically because I was looking at a list of games that hadn't received any feedback. Now that I've commented on your game, you won't even be on that list, so do go and rate and comment on other people's games.

The concept is really good, but this game needs a bit of work.

For future projects, making a polished experience of a single level is more important that having a lot of content.

The biggest two issues I had were: 1. The controls felt clunky 2. Bugs in the Park level kept me from progressing. The level kept randomly restarting.
