I quite like the Idea. Your game make me feel like God but your font is hard to read (for me). And the process is abit slow, i cant reach out more than steel age but it's still fun.

The 3D view is nice but it make me hard to see all the terrain. Im not sure that your sunlight might do any effect in game (like condition to lvl up), but it make me too hard to see all object.

Still nice game, hope you can develope it some more feature to play(i quite like save game just in case i come in and take a look to my world).

This is one of the most fascinating game I've played on LD38. I wasn't quite sure what I was doing in the very beginning so I was just messing around with the terrain, then there was fire :D I love the approach that you are the provider and they are the workers where you can't directly control what goes on in your world. This can easily become a subtle game with variety. (e.g. Lot more stone in this area? Higher stone castle.) This is a game I would love to play if it gets developed more :)

Music and the sound effect when clicking was nicely done as well. It fits the atmosphere. Sure, it was difficult to see at night, but once there were lots of activity going on, it seemed fine.

I'm pretty sure I saw one of the guys say something-ludum-daremus lol Great job :)

Hey @mitus and @hekst! Thank you both for playing our game! I'm just a student and so this kind of feedback is super encouraging!!!

@mitus I'm sorry you couldn't get past the Age of Steel tho; the game totally ramps up right around there. Your little people will bark what they need (for example: 'calcem requiamos' meaning 'we need stone' in latin). So that should be helpful. You can also click on the age name and get a little bit of flavor text describing what resources your people might need. Steel is made form iron and coal, so having loads of these is helpful! I am glad you seemed to enjoy your time with Ludum Dei.

@hekst I'm really happy you liked the moment civilization emerges. This is something we went back and forth about a lot along with the idea that the people have 'free will' or ideas for the stuff they want to make, and you just have to help them. A lot of god games let you pick what your people will do and this seemed unintuitive to us. I'm really glad you liked them game! thanks so much for the feedback.

Gunna change that font RIGHT NOW!
