This is a fantastic idea, but I feel a little overwhelmed. Since I don't know what combat is going to be like, it's hard for me to spend all this time outfitting robots and setting up behaviors.
Perhaps you could start with one robot, and a really limited set of behaviors?
I really like this kind of algorithmic combat (like FFXII), and with a bit of polish this could be dope.
