I liked the idea of avoiding the light as a gameplay. At first you feel a bit disoriented, you don't know exactly what to do, but on the other hand the controls are easy to learn. It was funny overall. Art is not bad, but what really makes the atmosphere is the audio, which I found pretty neat! And the background story was interesting.
I was going to point out the collision bug, but I already saw it on thhe description. At all, is a cool game, nice job :)

I like the various path options and ways to interact with the world. I felt like there were too many light sources, and I don't think candles should hurt.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Candles don't hurt, but you constantly take a small amount of damage (vampires need to feed). If I remember correctly, there was a candle at the bottom of a shaft that had a UV light above it though. You may be thinking about that.

Well made game! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/KIzapWNCI0E
