Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge.We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

It needs an tutorial. Very nice pixel art!
I really wish either the enemies didn't move in real time, or there was a button dedicated to digging. it was a little annoying to try and move quickly past a bird and accidently pick up a block of dirt that then made it difficult to progress. A couple times I hit cases where there was one block of dirt in the way but I was already carrying a shovelful from a block that I didn't mean to pickup.
The animations and art style are really great. I really liked the chunky walk animation.
Awesome gamefeel ! The game looks awesome and controls well (even on an azerty keyboard). I sometimes wished I could drop dirt, it wasn't really a blocking mechanic but when you're trying to plan your next moves it was a bit frustrating.
Still an awesome game nonetheless. Congratulations !
nice game... it's a bit too hard for me, but it has nice graphics, good action and interesting level design.
