Really neat idea and the lighting model is really good! There are some control issues tho, and the jump angle takes some getting used to - the fall at the end of the jump is very steep, would prefer if it was an arc. You said this was one of your first Unity projects tho, which is pretty amazing. Compared to my first Unity project, this is great (see my LD26 to feel good about yourself :D )
