Welcome to your first Ludum submission! You used Lua?? Wow. That's not very common. You realize this already, but since you ran out of time, it would be better to cut some corners in the dev process next time. Networking multiplayer takes a lot of dev time--which you clearly understand http://i.imgur.com/Ta0FPo5.jpg
Unity is awesome for quick game prototypes, so you probably could have gotten something a little more polished if you created a 1 player unity platformer.
Not bad it was alright.
