This game is okay. It's Asteroids, with goats.
If you start moving, you move way too fast and it's hard to control. I ended up staying in the starting position.
If you spam fire, you don't hear the fire sound anymore. If you go to the next level, there is a chance that a goat will spawn on top of you, and you die instantly.
sorry i did this in about an hour and it was my first ludum dare. Thanks for the feedback though
In addition to Marco's critiques:
1. Next time, put the files in a folder and zip the folder. Saves me from making a folder for your game. Minor complaint.
2. The game freezes for a solid 1.5 seconds every time I press Space to fire.
Just a note, you might have missed this from the rules since it's your first time, but for the 48 Compo entries, all assets need to be created completely by you within the 2 day time frame. This means that the photographs of goats you pulled from the internet should not have been used.
Other than that, a pretty solid asteroids clone, although the forward impulse is a bit too fast. I taps up and shot off really fast making it really difficult to then dodge the goats. I would have liked a slower acceleration.
