Pretty funny concept, but I quickly tired of watching that blue planet whiz by with little or no bearings by which to find it again.
I spent several minutes trying to find the planet to land on and then gave up.
403 Error :(
I know it's not finished, but here's a couple of thoughts on possible improvements:
* Some kind of pointer to the planet. Space is rather big ;)
* Distant objects in the starfield (like a tiny galaxy or nebula). Because the stars move so quick, there's no frame of reference to figure out where you are. Something in the background that scrolls much slower would be a big help to finding that planet.
* Retro rockets - Flying up to the planet and then whizzing by because you took too long to turn is a little frustrating.
Also, even when you're not firing the engines, the direction you're pointing affects your speed. Not sure if that's deliberate or not.
It's an interesting concept though and I hope you'll get a chance to add the things you wanted :)
For some reason this game is unresponsive to my commands. I'm running it in chrome.
