Interesting idea, but the ant seemed almost impossible to control through all but guesswork. When I placed pheromones next to him, sometimes he'd move diagonally down past them, or some other direction that seemed to make no sense based on where I placed it. He also seemed to only be able to move diagonally, and was slow, which made progress across the screen in the first level really sluggish.

It's a really cool idea but the game just doesn't seem finished. It needs sounds and music and the two levels don't offer any challenge outside of controlling the ant being a bit of a pain.
I understand the idea of having to control an ant who has his own ideas about where to go but players tend to enjoy games that give them direct feedback. To make this work, your ant needs to always go to a patch of pheromone if there's one nearby and not wander away from it.
