There's a bit of a control problem in that "A" also rotates the ship (Along with D). It also might have been nice if you avoided invisible walls and used the original solar jetman's mountain barriers. Otherwise, fun game, and I liked the particle effects.
Ah, nice catch! I didn't even notice that A rotated the ship; I changed the control scheme at the last minute from Left-Alt to rotate to 'A' because I thought it was more typical. And yeah, the invisible walls made me sad; I purposely made the terrain bumpy near the left/right ones so that you could easily tell that you weren't moving.
If I hadn't slacked so much, I'd have a starfield background to give a better feeling of movement/desolation as well as adding those mountain barriers.
Glad to see someone who knows what Solar Jetman is. :) That's rare--no pun intended.
The collision was kinda buggy and dragging objects had weird issues.

I liked the feel of gunning about in the ship, and the graphics were quite nice in their way. I think the most obvious omission is any kind of threat to the player; even flying into walls at top speed has no punishment.
Overall, I would love to see a version of this that takes the concept further and challenges the player more.
It was pretty fun. I did feel alone out there...
