| Apr 8 08:03:37 | A Leap in the Dark | ♥ 7 | This was such a unique idea! Huge props to the visuals and sound delivering a great atmosphere, but the design was solid to boot. It did an amazing job at clearly conveying what I needed to do to proceed, and the variety of items on display gave the simple objective of "falling down" a surprising amount of depth. Really just an amazing job all around! | |
| Apr 9 03:36:23 | 19h 32m | Depth Explorer | ♥ 1 | Really solid core loop, definitely has the bones to keep building on if you wanted to expand on it! Repairing the ship was a great goal to build towards, and upgrading the oxygen capacity kept an enjoyable pace. Would've loved to be able to upgrade some other stats, namely something like speed/ maneuverability to try and address the sharks. Great job on this one! |
| Apr 9 04:08:17 | 31m 54s | You Know the Drill! | ♥ 2 | Very satisfying loop of collecting and upgrading, and love how much solid and economical the art direction was! Also such a great touch to have backtracking the paths that you already formed give you a bit of a speed boost. Really great work, and would definitely play more if you felt like continuing the project! |
| Apr 9 04:27:35 | 19m 18s | Tout au fond (at the very bottom) | ♥ 1 | Oh man, so much good stuff here! Loved the art direction, all the enemies were easily recognizable and gave me plenty of heads up on how to plan my attack/ route. Upgrading felt so good, especially getting that piercing shot and just mowing down a full line of enemies as the screen was shaking was some peak game feel. Only real complaint is it left me wanting more of it! Awesome job here, and hopefully I get to see more of it someday! :D |
| Apr 9 05:02:09 | 34m 34s | Voidwood | ♥ 5 | Really fun take on the prompt! Loved the visuals, especially with how trippy it gets and the music fit perfectly. Gameplay was super smooth and intuitive as well! Seriously great work! |
| Apr 10 02:46:35 | 21h 44m | DOWN INTO THE DEPTHS | ♥ 1 | As others have said, really nailed the atmosphere! The reloading also adds a satisfying amount of tension, and the ability to slide down gives a great sense of risk/ reward attached to it! Only minor gripe would be to add an element of red to the lizards crawling horizontally just to give them that same weight of threat that the spiders have. Stellar work! |
| Apr 10 03:04:16 | 17m 41s | The Drop | ♥ 1 | Screenshot 2025-04-09 at 21-53-38 The Drop! by langotriel.png Amazing presentation and personality! The voice actors did a great job injecting character with some solid line reads! Only minor note would be that the hazard patterns become somewhat repetitive and easy to predict once you make it a certain distance, but obviously only having three days this was still a lot of variety on display lol. Great job on this entry! |
| Apr 10 03:34:03 | 29m 47s | Coffin' Time | ♥ 1 | Super clever idea, and great art direction! Having the coffins combine in on one another was a great secondary objective to strive for! Only issue with the design is that it bottle necks pretty quickly due to being unable to expand the hole at the top, though I'd imagine that'd run the risk of making things a bit too easy if it turned into one big pit lol. Great concept and solid execution! |
| Apr 10 03:46:46 | 12m 43s | Painball | ♥ 2 | The "build it yourself" pinball game is a concept I don't think I've ever seen before, but it's such an awesome idea! Also the art and presentation really make this into a pretty polished product! Minor gripe would be that it'd be nice to have more time to apply new items to the play board, either by freezing everything mid turn once I purchased an item to place, or put it in slow-mo. All around amazing job! |
