| Dec 14 05:58:00 | Grow big or go home | Incredible visuals. The particle effects are awesome. Controls are extremely smooth. Some sound would make this entry. Well done! | |
| Dec 14 06:05:00 | 7m 00s | QM Snake | Nice job, tricky to get the hang of. The UI is interesting, perhaps with a little tweaking you could get a neat 2D/3D overlay effect. Fun yet challenging, well done! |
| Dec 14 06:18:00 | 13m 00s | Up And Down | I'll second that the LD is a learning experience. My introduction to OOP consisted of learning the hard way that you shouldn't create hundreds of new instances of java.util.Random every update through a less-than-satisfactory Ludum Dare entry. You just gotta dust yourself off and get ready to dig in for the next jam. Congrats on meeting the deadline with a functioning submission, and props for not being part of the group that bailed after the first failure. See you in LD35. |
| Dec 14 06:21:00 | 3m 00s | Snekklr | Nice physics! Your "dumb" AI tore me to bits right off the bat, lol. Controls are tough, but they fit the theme. Sweet art. Well done! |
| Dec 14 06:29:00 | 8m 00s | Chaintanks | Super fun entry. This game has a negative difficulty curve, however the level of fun multiplies over time (as does the amount of headphone and ear destruction). Art is awesome. 5/5 fun. |
| Dec 14 07:04:00 | 35m 00s | Keyboard Prince | Fun entry. Art has a great feel. Sound gets slightly annoying after a while, and the back wall of the starting room does not exist (I discovered this before I had to read through the comments to find that you had to press 'e' on the door). You might want to consider adding a message that specifies the abilities as you gain them. Well done with the two button fps, and nice job with lwjgl! Great entry! |
| Dec 14 07:09:00 | 5m 00s | Journey for the light | Clever game, great aesthetic, awesome sprites. Fairly challenging, but not in a detrimental way. Overall extremely solid entry, congrats! |
| Dec 14 17:25:00 | 10h 16m | Between Buttons | Fun entry! I played on a Galaxy S5, and the UI was a little small. Only one touch would register at once, this would be a unique game of hand twister if you could use two fingers. The sound and graphics are awesome and fit together nicely. Props for mobile support. Well done! |
| Dec 15 19:45:00 | 26h 20m | G.R.O.W.I.N.G | Played on mobile with a friend, very solid graphics, entertaining controls. Tough to get the hang of, there doesn't seem to be a noticeable correlation between the input and the direction that the legs move. Sound would have been nice. Like I said, great graphics, incredible entry. Well done! |
| Dec 15 20:00:00 | 15m 00s | Two Button Controls | Played on a Galaxy S5. Solid graphics, smooth awesthetic, awesome sound. Everything fits together nicely. Great entry. |
| Dec 16 05:07:00 | 9h 07m | ScaleFlexes | Nice use of the theme. Awesome aesthetic, everything ties together very nicely. I wish I could give you credit for the music, it makes the game feel perfect. Overall very solid entry, congrats! |
| Dec 16 05:15:00 | 8m 00s | RhythmRider | Fun take on Taiko! I wish there were at least a couple more songs/difficulties, the game gets a little repetitive after a few tries. The graphics mesh nicely with the sound and the aesthetic, this is a very well put together entry. Overall incredible job. +Kudos |
| Dec 16 05:30:00 | 15m 00s | Two Button Ripple | Very, very well designed puzzle game. You did an exceptional job of walking the player through learning the mechanics. All levels were perfectly crafted so that the player was forced to slowly learn new concepts and ideas. As a whole the game was very nice (cept for the missing audio D:) and visually appealing. 5/5 fun for incredible level design. |
| Dec 16 06:10:00 | 40m 00s | zx | I gotta say, those parallelograms sure are deadly! Though this game might be lacking in sound or graphic depth, it makes up for that times a thousand in level design. You did a great job of walking the player through the mechanics and introducing them to new play styles and ideas. 5/5 fun for levels. Well done! |
| Dec 16 06:18:00 | 8m 00s | Roto | Aesthetically pleasing entry. The graphics fit together nicely, especially with your layering-3D effect. Sound is decent. At times I felt the levels became slightly too punishing (forcing the player to go on for a while without some sort of checkpoint) (this had a minimal effect on the engaging game play). Overall very well organized entry. +Kudos <br/>(LWJGL buddies!) |
| Dec 16 18:30:00 | 12h 12m | Tiny Chase DJ | Game has a nice aesthetic. Good work with particles and animations. The music meshes nicely with the simplistic gameplay. Solid entry overall. Congrats! |
| Dec 16 18:39:00 | 9m 00s | Drought | The game does not have much of a difficulty curve, I was able to play for longer than seemed appropriate. The style is just awesome, the music blew my mind. You managed to create a really relaxing and unique mood (5/5). Awesome entry. (Played on a Galaxy S5) |
| Dec 17 16:54:00 | 22h 15m | Homeworld | Fun entry! Controls are toughaving to get the hang of, clever difficulty curve mechanic. The aesthetic is really nice, I like how the additional circles act as a gradient outward. Sound is decent. Solid game overall, congrats! |
| Dec 18 16:30:00 | 23h 36m | Retro Racer | Fun, simplistic entry. Sound would have been nice. The difficulty curve is decent, though the cars could have been a little more dense. Solid game, congrats! |
| Dec 18 16:45:00 | 15m 00s | Grow in the Hole! | Fun game. For some reason I had framerate issues (played on a Galaxy S5). The aesthetic is good, the level generation is surprising well done and fits the style of the game. Overall very solid entry! |
| Dec 18 20:30:00 | 3h 45m | Sticky Stuff | Fun game! I played this on a Galaxy S5, the whole thing felt extremely slow (it may be just me). The sounds, level design, and graphics meshed nicely to create a smooth, flowy aesthetic. Incredible job. 5/5 mood, graphics and audio. |
| Dec 18 20:40:00 | 10m 00s | Two Button Takeover | Interesting concpet. I can't tell if there is anything past the homeless level, after $20 I got bored. You might want to have a repercussion for spamming the buttons, such as a loss of money for a poorly timed hit. It's a decent start, but it needs work. I can't wait to see what you do with this! |
| Dec 18 20:53:00 | 13m 00s | InfiniGrow | Played on a Galaxy S5. Overall solid game, the animations and sound were nice. The aesthetic could use some work, the graphics didn't really to seem to mesh with each other. Gameplay itself was fun. Awesome entry! |
| Dec 18 20:59:00 | 6m 00s | Shoot & Dash | (Played on a Galaxy S5) The turning is dizzying on mobile. Like the other comments say, the view should be zoomed out and you should be able to turn tighter. I like the graphics and the sound effects, overall this game has a very cohesive aesthetic. Solid entry, keep it up! |
| Dec 18 21:07:00 | 8m 00s | Boom Boom Balloon! | Fun entry. The sound effects are sufficent, the aesthetic is awesome and the graphics are incredible. The whole thing feels very cohesive and carefully planned. Solid game, congrats! (Played on a Galaxy S5) |
| Dec 22 03:16:00 | 78h 09m | Outer Space | Fun, simple entry. Incredible music, awesome in-game physics. The aesthetic is nice, you might want to consider adding more play elements. Overall feels polished. Well done! 5/5 audio. |
| Dec 22 05:56:00 | 2h 40m | Supreme Collider | Fun, slow, moody game. The music is decent, however the sound effects are painful. I wish there was slightly more control, you have to start moving pretty far in advance to collect masses. Solid entry overall, well done. |
| Dec 22 06:06:00 | 10m 00s | Utter Chaos! | Fun game, well put together. Sound effects are decent, particles are nice. The game feels kind of bland in its current state, you might want to add a clever mechanic to spice things up. Solid entry, nice job! |
| Dec 22 06:12:00 | 6m 00s | Cyclopi | This game is a graphical masterpiece. I love what you've done with the visual aesthetics - everything feels smooth and connected. Game play itself is a little confusing (even with the control dialogue), you might want to consider adding a little more tutorial. Incredible entry, 5/5 graphics (aesthetics). |
| Dec 22 09:21:00 | 3h 09m | Jetpack Every Day | Fun entry! The shifting background is a nice touch, the level design and enemies are awesome. Sound would make this game. Nice job! |
| Dec 23 07:35:00 | 22h 14m | Button Betting | Incredible entry. Sounds fit well, audio is awesome. Aesthetic is perfect. Well done, congratulations! |
| Dec 23 10:25:00 | 2h 50m | Isoshoot | Incredible game. The aesthetic is awesome, the graphics and retro sound fit together perfectly. The game play itself is a little punishing with the one life system, however I am extremely happy that you added a checkpoint system upon death. The music is unbelievable. This is an outstanding entry, 5/5 graphics, mood, audio. |
| Jan 2 20:14:00 | 249h 49m | Twotris | Solid entry. Not at the bottom of the pile, there are entries that are far worse. You submitted a functioning game, congrats! |
| Jan 2 20:20:00 | 6m 00s | New Planet | Interesting concept, solid graphics. Nice job! |
| Jan 2 20:24:00 | 4m 00s | Expando-ship | Fun game, awesome music, incredible graphics. Well done, incredible entry overall. |
| Jan 3 01:21:00 | 4h 57m | Parse The Sky | Incredible game. The aesthetic is flawless, the graphics mesh nicely with the unbelievable audio. Well done, incredible amounts of polish for 72 hours. 5/5 graphics, audio, mood |
| Jan 4 04:17:00 | 26h 56m | Opcode-Powered Shuttle (working title) | Fun game, slightly confusing at first. Nice aesthetics! Sound could use a little work, but awesome entry overall. |
