| Aug 25 06:16:00 | Memory of Psychopath | The standout here is the excellent audio. It's a rare LD entry that has voice acting, that's for sure. I also really liked the background effect.

Unfortunately, the gameplay was somewhat marred by somewhat 'floaty' controls and really unforgiving collision detection on the spikes. Also, the fact that the audio restarts when you die is a big no-no in my opinion. At some parts of the last level, I would hear the same two seconds of audio ten, twenty times in a row.

That said, I did like it enough to stick through it. I can't emphasize enough how much I liked the audio in particular. | |
| Aug 25 06:26:00 | 10m 00s | Loading Complete | The text scrolling across the bottom of the screen was pretty entertaining, though sometimes I found it hard not to accidentally kill the hero before I finished reading it. I also kinda wish that at the end the hero *did* quit, and you got to go off with the girl :-p |
| Aug 25 06:34:00 | 8m 00s | Adventure's Of Lenky | Is it actually possible to take out the blimp? I couldn't figure it out. |
| Aug 25 17:06:00 | 10h 32m | Forest monster! | Bonus points for making a game that I can play on my iPad. Very nice! |
| Sep 4 22:35:00 | 245h 29m | Good Guys Always Win ! | My favorite parts were the music, and the things you can throw were quite amusing. |
| Sep 4 22:43:00 | 8m 00s | CubeMonster | The web link doesn't seem to work. I just get ads :( |
| Sep 4 22:53:00 | 10m 00s | Escape the Doom | An excellent take on the theme. Not exactly a surprise per se (given that we all know what the theme is), but I liked it anyway. I especially like the good ending. |
| Sep 4 23:12:00 | 19m 00s | Harvey, Dean, and Pete's Terrible Adventure | Pretty fun! The controls were sometimes the *tiniest* bit frustrating, but overall it was very good. |
| Sep 4 23:31:00 | 19m 00s | Echidna | I really like this. 100MB seems a bit big in terms of LD downloads, but I'm glad I played it regardless. Played through it twice, to see both endings. |
| Sep 4 23:37:00 | 6m 00s | Mike The Mediocre Meteor | I'm not really sure how this is supposed work? The shield-weapon didn't seem to work for me, as far as I could tell. |
| Sep 4 23:44:00 | 7m 00s | Amnesia | While the gameplay was rather rudimentary, the pixel art was quite good. Lots of room for growth, but hands down a better game than my own first LD entry, so keep up the good work. |
| Sep 4 23:53:00 | 9m 00s | The water ghost | I liked the graphics, but I couldn't hear any audio at all. |
| Sep 5 00:26:00 | 33m 00s | D.A.Y.S. | Interesting take on the theme, and implementing that many minigames in 48 hours can't have been easy (though, I the vodka and martini minigames seemed to be broken). Very good effort. |
| Sep 5 00:30:00 | 4m 00s | The Cauldron of Humanity | Seems pretty good, but, as others have commented, it's quite difficult, and there's no indication of what any of the abilities do. |
| Sep 5 00:45:00 | 15m 00s | The Virus | The music was good, but a little repetitive. The minigames were quite uneven in difficulty (and in length - the DNA one takes too long, and the avoid-purple-guy one doesn't take long enough). That said, it's pretty dang fun. Played all the way through. |
| Sep 5 00:53:00 | 8m 00s | Terror Bird Feeding Frenzy | I loved the visual design, it was really nice. Also, Terror Birds ++ |
| Sep 6 07:35:00 | 30h 42m | Daylight Blobbery | Huh. I'm gonna go ahead and not rate this, treat it as 'couldn't play'. The web player behaved... very strangely. |
| Sep 6 07:40:00 | 5m 00s | Emm... Boo! | A good first attempt, but it'd be nice to see it taken further, probably via the addition of levels with increasing difficulty, and a minimum number of kids scared to pass the level. Just a thought. |
| Sep 6 07:45:00 | 5m 00s | First Person Eater | I found it kinda hard to see anything. Which, may have been intentional, but, anyway. |
| Sep 6 08:11:00 | 26m 00s | (Idle?) Monster | Hilarious :-p

Obviously, not any more gameplay than the genre it's parodying, but, very funny. Played it all the way through. |
| Sep 6 08:19:00 | 8m 00s | Jeff's choice | I really liked the environment art! I didn't hear any audio, though other commentators mentioned music. |
| Sep 6 08:34:00 | 15m 00s | Monster Doodle Battle! | A lot of creativity went into this! Though, maybe my monster just sucked but I found myself getting absolutely creamed by the AI |
| Sep 6 20:58:00 | 12h 24m | Lil' Drake | This game is quite good. It really deserves to be fleshed out with more levels, and some audio. |
| Sep 6 21:06:00 | 8m 00s | Monstris | Nice concept, Julian, and actually plays quite well (though it'd be nice if currently unplayable pieces were dimmed). Pity about missing the theme :-p |
| Sep 6 21:10:00 | 4m 00s | PixelMonster | I like the concept quite a bit, though with only a few levels it's hard to say where it should go next. I could see your monster gaining different powers depending on what color he was, which could add a nice puzzle element to it. |
| Sep 6 21:28:00 | 18m 00s | I May Have Misunderstood: RPG | Hilarious. In some ways, one of the best games I've played so far this LD. My favorite take on the theme, for sure. |
| Sep 6 21:38:00 | 10m 00s | Eye In The Sky | Pretty sweet! I especially liked the graphics and audio, but the gameplay was nice as well. Felt like maybe it could have used a few power-ups or some similar element, though. |
| Sep 6 21:41:00 | 3m 00s | Lure.Lair.Lunch | OS X port hangs on launch. Running from the command line, I get:

Arcadia:MacOS adam$ ./lurelairlunch-ld33
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 356, in <module>
File "<string>", line 31, in __init__
File "/private/var/root/Dropbox/ld33/build/build_osx64/out00-PYZ.pyz/ConfigParser", line 330, in get
ConfigParser.NoSectionError: No section: 'menu' |
