| Aug 25 10:59:00 | Galactic Paperboy | Looks great :)! | |
| Aug 25 11:08:00 | 9m 00s | Universe Travellers | Seems like there are some bugs, or maybe I am misunderstanding the game.. At least I can't move through any of the blocks in 'level 2' |
| Aug 25 11:20:00 | 12m 00s | Between | Visually it's very beautiful, but there seems to be a lot of bugs. Like in the beginning, I can't change 'Company Name', so if I try to write something then there will be an error saying its too long and the only way to start fresh is to refresh the window.
Anyway, I managed to somehow skip it by just pressing enter instead of inserting a name. About the game itself, I feel it's quite difficult to understand what I'm supposed to do, but visually it's the most beautiful game I've tried so far. |
| Aug 25 11:32:00 | 12m 00s | Infiltrate to Elevate | Doubt I'll find a game that can stay more true to the theme 'Connected Worlds' than this one :)! |
| Aug 25 11:45:00 | 13m 00s | OtherWorld | I like it, but I think you should change the heart/stop icons, at least it didn't occur to me that 'heart=heaven power' and 'stop=hell power' until after I read the dialogues. |
| Aug 25 12:25:00 | 40m 00s | Connected We Run | Very fun, just think that the idea of having to refresh the browser in order to restart is very foolish.
It also seems that the platforms can spawn in certain positions that would make it impossible to get past them, not sure how you are generating them but I recommend testing for extreme cases and then make sure they don't surpass those situations.
I guess an easy solution to eliminate most of these problems would be to make sure that if a platform spawned near the top then the next one should spawn below the middle, unlike now, where this scenario would be possible:
[black near top][black near top][black at bottom]
[white anywhere][white anywhere][white near top]
In this case, in order to jump to a black platform you would have to jump all the way to the third one, so when you landed there then you would be near the bottom already (because of the long distance) which means that if the white platform at that position was near the top then it would be game over. |
| Aug 25 12:52:00 | 27m 00s | Schizophrenia | Really great game, my only complaints are:
(1) having to restart the game all the way from the beginning, this can be really annoying
(2) can only restart pressing 'r' - how about just restarting my pressing space?
(3) I'd much rather prefer awsd and arrow keys for movement/jump and then use 'space' to switch mode. Of course this third comment is about preference but I think that if you're using 'space' to jump and 'enter' to switch mode then your hands are pretty far apart, unless of course you use your one hand for all movement/jumping. I recommend that you try to use the arrow keys for movement, space for jumping and enter for switching mode and then see how it feels. |
| Aug 25 14:49:00 | 1h 57m | Connect with the Dirt | Haha, the sound effects are hilarious and suits the theme perfectly, I suspect you'll win the Humor category :)!
I guess if you use up all your life's before winning then it's pretty much game-over? Any way to restart the game? |
| Aug 25 14:57:00 | 8m 00s | Guardian of Galaxy | Great game, I guess there's no denying your game is based on the theme in some way ;) |
| Aug 25 15:04:00 | 7m 00s | DualityLD30 | I love the fact that you implemented it in Go, but I agree with the rest that it feels quite unresponsive |
| Aug 25 15:43:00 | 39m 00s | The Warehouse Connection | Game looks great - although I recommend that you add some instructions, or perhaps always display a crosshair that then changes colour when you are in a position to activate the shiny objects? I spent a good five minutes walking around in the room trying to figure out what I was supposed to do before I realized that I had to aim below the shiny cube in order to activate it (I had previously tried to aim directly at the cube (instead of below it) while spamming clicks and random keys).
Also, in level 3 (I think) where there are 3 cubes near each other, I first activated the one at the bottom and then one at the top, but when I activated the one at the top then both of them got activated - I guess this is a bug? It doesn't really affect gameplay, just wanted to let you know :)! |
| Aug 27 08:16:00 | 40h 33m | Breach of Dimensions | Impressive game, and, being from Denmark, I definitely dig the Lego-style characters :)!
My only 'complaints' are that I would've preferred some long-range combat as I felt it was extremely difficult to hit the enemies without being hit myself, and it would be nice to also see some health indication of the enemies, but then again, we only had one weekend so I can understand you choose to focus on other aspects of the game :)! |
| Aug 27 08:23:00 | 7m 00s | Jack Primus: Peacekeeper | Great game, I like difficult games :)! |
