But the clue was already spoiled because I found the lantern with the last word earlier. :< <br/>When I found the last lantern the voice acting improved significantly. :P Other then that top notch audio that really fits the atmosphere. | |

But so far I can say the graphics and sound set a great atmoshpere. I love the attention that was given to the details. Also the camera direction is a very nice touch. <br/> <br/>All in all, I love it! :) |
| Apr 29 15:31:00 | 24m 00s | Miner Problem | The spritework is amazing. Very clean in crispy style. :) It's a hard game though o.o <br/>After a while you'll learn to deal with the bats. I found that running back and letting them come at your level helps. With a bit more time you could really polish this into a neat game, the powerup mechanic is there, it just needs more of the same. ^^ |

The flight controls are super responsive, so after a few deaths I could dodge and kill very efficiently. The feeling you get when you have multishot + instant charge shot is just amazing. You'll see the terrain crumbling around you and enemies dying everywhere. :D <br/> <br/>The only bad point was the ending, it was very abrupt. Just when I was enjoying myself! :D But that's completely understandable for a gamejam. <br/> <br/>For it's stylish 8 graphics, crunchy sounds and responsive gameplay this is so far my favorite compo entry. |
| May 1 07:22:00 | 39h 29m | Heaving of the Depths | At one point I got stuck In a shop (I had 2 shop windows open and I could only close one, bug?). :( I had to start over. >.< <br/> <br/>That being said, the artwork is gorgeous. A very unique and striking style of pixel art. It's very beautiful. It really helps set the mood for the game. <br/>You should definitely continue working on this and add some sounds. :P <br/> <br/>A minor nitpick is that the controls where a bit awkward X and Q are nowhere near eachother on my keyboard. But the game was turn based so it didn't matter that much. :P <br/> <br/>All in all, great job. :) |

Made me totally uneasy. :D <br/> <br/>The fact that it is a child totally helps set the mood. A primal instinct for you to protect your child from the monsters of the dark. The anxiety that this game evokes is quite a real feeling. <br/> <br/>Great idea, great entry. |

| May 1 12:20:00 | 4h 18m | Sword and Shovelry | Nostalgia attack. :) <3 the gameboy look. Takes me back to zelda. <br/>Fun little game with great graphics. Also the sounds are good, what you see a lot during LD is that people take the first blip out of sfxr and stick with it. These sounds actually fit the actions they are bound to. :) <br/> <br/>Great work! |
| May 2 23:20:00 | 35h 00m | Penguin Plunge | Highscore of 9524, beat that! <br/> <br/>Although the graphics might not be the greatest, this is actually one of the best LD games I've played so far. It's very addictive and the sound does a great job supporting the gameplay. I'm going to give it another go, see if I can break 10000. :) |
