Paradise Fort Very nice entry! I found the learning curve to be a tad steep, but not sure how you could have prevented that. Otherwise, pretty graphics, nice idea, and good execution!
Savory Sea Hoss I love the absurdity of this. Also the art style (very close to what I was considering). Scoring seemed pretty random, but I think that's how it should be, as it adds to the "nuts" factor. Sound effects would have been nice (especially when killing survivors), but the fact you had time to make some music is pretty impressive. Nice work!
islands I'm not 100% sure, but I *think* I liked this a lot. Just been checking out www.notgames.org, and I'm really coming to believe that this kind of thing is what we need right now for our medium to advance. <br/> <br/>Graphically, I simply loved it. Whether it was really good beyond that is going to take me some time and thought. But very nice effort in any case. <br/> <br/>(Oh, and I don't think this should have any music, but the sound of some gently lapping water would really add a lot, I think.)
a bridge too far For some reason I can't open the archive :(. Using 7zip, getting "cannot open file as archive." Tried downloading a couple of times.
Waves SonnyBone says ... <br/> <br/>"I love how he builds such unrealistic speed when swimming upwards from the depths of the ocean... then you FLING out of the water and barely miss helicopter blades on your way back down into a shark's mouth." <br/> <br/>That's what the game's box text should be. Anyway, I love the little dude sprite, and the somewhat ridiculous physics, and the built-in mini-puzzles. As I mentioned before, there's a really nice exploratory aspect here. And the controls feel pretty good most of the time. Nice job! <br/> <br/>The main improvement this game could use, I think, is fine-tuning the controls even more, and the little circles, to make it relatively easy--but not *too* easy to be able to do a perfect level run and get all the circles. You know how good it feels to play a perfect Sonic level, where you never stopped moving, and never went backwards? That's what this game could have.
