Innocent Chickens by sandrofigo 2017-12-06T04:37:51Z
Just barely made it to 200 "seconds" but I wound up getting beaten (fairly) by the saws. I noticed that there was sometimes an odd issue if saws would happen to collide perpendicularly and one would stay put for a little while longer. If you're looking for a quick fix, it would be good to assign the saws to their own layer and disable interactions between that new layer with itself (https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-PhysicsManager.html). But its kind of a small little nit picky thing! It just stood out a bit every now and then.
I also felt that the lose condition was understandable once you lose a few chickens. One thing that I'm noticing after reading the comments on here and playing the game a day later, was that points are reduced when a chicken dies. Until now I only thought it was seconds survived. I was never paying attention once a saw was going through my chickens. I only looked at it when it was safe and thought I just wasn't playing the game too long. I would suggest putting some sort of indication of reducing the score. Like once you get hit, the score changes to red and fades back into white with the game-over bar.
Overall I really enjoyed it and the difficulty curve is really pleasing! Fantastic job!
