It's a really beautiful game graphically and musically, but I don't understand what's happening, the game glitched after the bear, background disappeared and I couldn't move anymore. I can't figure what the "give light" is supposed to do either. I'll try again later if you fix it (if it's a glitch?) and improve my vote :)

A short yet intriguing story! Though you don't interact more than twice with any one character, they still all have unique, identifiable personalities. The art style is very charming (and the bear is terrifying). There's so much potential in this game, especially in the ending. Intended or otherwise, the unfinished feel of the story is actually really poetic. Very impressive when the creators were so busy with finals!

This is as much of a game as is "Dear Esther". On one hand you're only walking and talking, but on the other hand a story is told. Too bad this is short and it's not clear whats going on at the end when everything just stops with the main character centered on screen. It says "push Space to give light" but there is no indication of light being given or light being lost other than the dialogue changes with other characters. Music is nice but doesn't loop. I guess this game is ok, but it feels... incomplete? More content of some sort would improve this game.

Sadly we weren't able to get the final animation into the game because we have finals due in a week, we just used this as a learning experience!

Wasn't a huge fan of the bugs. Wait, that was a confusing pun, I don't think that made a whole lot of sense. Lemme try that again...

I think the art style is well stylized and provides a lot of character. I appreciate each character's dialogue corresponding their presence, and as such, needs. Some of them border on creepy, too. I did think, however, it was too easy to accidentally skip the dialog. I also wasn't sure the game was working properly when I gave light out of order. When I collided into a moth, the game just sort of froze, which I'm not sure was intentional. Hopefully, you'll both have more time to work on this.
