Hello ! I can't figure out the mini-game :( I click on the bottle but the captain still drinks. I see how it could fit the theme tho, and I think it could use an other mini-game to "empty" the captain to counter balance the drinking ^^
Edit : thanks for the answer :) It still is pretty cool given the time you had

@zoltancoccyx Yup knew lot wouldn't be able to figure out. Basically Cap' starts drinking with low amount, and you steal little bit of drink with your parrots. So in tapping game only as many bottles appear as your available parrot count. Each bottle that you tap, makes cap' drink just a tiny bit less. In early game you can't really notice that because 1-2 parrots dont do much, but once (or if you) get into the late game, you can really see that when you have like 10 parrots or something (and tapping game becomes quite challenging, because timer is almost always same, unless you got crazy amount of parrots). However more Cap' drinks, more drunk he becomes, as more drunk he becomes less control he has, soo he drinks even more. Basically you can never make Cap' pass the drinking round. Thats why you gotta keep parrot on adventure and hope that you get those Metabolism Boosters. But yea totally get your view, also RNG is not quite forgiving this time around. So maybe it would be more fun experience with couple tweaks, maybe make Metabolism Boosters collectable instead of instant use, so you can strategically use it, let the passive metabolism also kick off. Maybe allow to send more than 1 parrot on adventure. With more time I'm sure it would have been lot better, but had only a day or so hah. Thanks for the review!

Loved this game! haha graphics and mood were spot on!
Hey, I did the sound design for this game. I was part of your team. Please add me to the team.
I liked the music but it could definately have a bit more interaction between parrot runs. Or even have "secret" things you can click on. The RNG I don't mind as much but maybe have a weighted system with more "positive" results :) Good job though!
I didn't really get the point in the game... Still, it looks nice and the mood is awesome!

LD rules say that you should opt-out of the Audio category if you didn't produce the music your selves. Which you didn't. You will be stealing points from other contributions who actually put the effort to create something themselves. At least show some respect and give credits.
Song is called "Great Open Sea" by Wellington Sea Shanty Society.
I liked the graphics =) good job

We are sorry that we made a mistake of not given the original artist of the song credit. Thank you for pointing it out to us. We will make sure to revise and edit the game credit scene. Although our sound editor left...but we will try our best to find out the remaining credits that he may have left out and added it on there as much as we could. We are sincerely sorry.
@Anonymous I read that on the page but did not see it say I had to opt out. If they had offered me an award, I would have rejected it because I know the music is not mine. It is royalty free music but I did not have the time during this weekend to make my own so I used this. I wanted to add a credits screen as ALL my games on my itch page do, but the programmer for this game was...a bit overwhelmed it seemed.
@dale-wu I am still here and have links for every sound I used. I left because I was in a very emotional, exhausted state and didn't want to shout at people over petty things.
I did not quite understand the goal here. But the look is good for a jam game but could be better.
