Hopefully you guys do better with Unity next time, but this is a good way to find out just which engine works best for you!

Well it's a short game so... I would say don't quit developing! If you like to develop games and have fun doing so than don't quit ! It's not important, if the first games become good or not. The thing that matters is that you learn. This whole Jam is only about trying something out. I didn't see much of the game, but I think you wanted to make a game and the fact that you worked on it is respectable and shouldn't be underestimated. Like you already said, you now know, that you don't want to use Game Maker 2 and wan't to try out Unity. That's nice do so. The only advise I can give you is to prepare a few days before the jam (I don't know when the free Game Maker 2 Version was published). I hope you don't quit developing. And I hope your next project won't get these problems.

I would suzggest posting a version that does not need a setup routine for next jam. Oh and I noticed a bug... I am able to walk outsige the floor...

Too bad you weren't able to complete your game :(
