good job
thnx @sg-alin :p
very nice game, awesome job!!!
thnx man @Klendi
I really like your take on the theme. Your game feels innovative and parts of it look good (the gameplay itself with animations and 3d models). However, it also feels kinda random, like an elaborate version of a rock-paper-scissors game (is there any way to predict which tactics your opponent will use? you might think about adding some indicators if you're going to develop this game further). UI and menus aren't very pretty (which I can totally relate to, I have nightmares about being forced to do something in photoshop).
On the whole, it feels like a super interesting idea that needed one or two more days to get realized fully. I had fun with it. Good job!
So much good game ...and nice gameplay
@LemonBalmGames firstly Thank u so much for ur feedback. i will sleep with extra peace tonight. well, i made it random, so that it wont be predictable , EXACTLY like rock paper scissor, but without rock paper and scissors lol.
I agree with the terrible UI, it makes me to go and kill myself XD i deffo need to add sounds as well.
i was about to add three characters with their own fighting styles according to their class but u can guess y its not in the game lol.
lastly, thank u so much, i really appreciate ur feedback :D
@Javed_Wilde No need to be so negative. Almost every game jam creation is a bit rough around the edges (mine certainly is!) so that's normal. It's just that in case of Robot's Turn some parts of the game look a lot better than others. You know what though? You got the important parts right (idea and the look of the game) and the less important ones (UI, sounds, time management) you're probably already better at after this jam. You made something that at least one person enjoyed, you shouldn't want to kill yourself (I know it's just a figure of speech but still) you should be proud of yourself! Good job and I can't wait to play your next LD game.
@LemonBalmGames , i cant the feel gravity now, thnk u so much from the bottom of my heart :D im so glad now that u enjoyed it
btw, i agree with u that i got sm parts right(necessary ones), buti guess sound and time management are quite important lol
thats my view tho thnx again ;)
Looking great! The random part got me a little angry i'll be honest :p
@N3K hahahah i'll call that "Objective Complete"
Wow, this game has really awesome animations. Really well made for only 2 days - this is something you won't find in games that have had months of development. I loved how they both ran together if both picked sword, that looked awesome. Oh, and the leap you did when you attacked and they were defending. I don't know if it actually went slow motion when that attack was made but it really felt like it did. Awesome touch.
There wasn't a lot to do when it comes to gameplay, sadly. I think it's a cool concept but it falls a bit short due to pure randomness. It's not a lot the player can do to change the outcome. I would've loved to perhaps see some way to change the outcome, maybe with quick-time events after you've locked your turn, making it a turn-based quick time event game
Of course, I would've preferred some Audio and UI work, but overall I think you did a great job. The animations were really top quality, well done.
I guess u can agree with wat ever u said @Marcus-Ottorstrom it deffo lacked alot of the gameplay element, and the randomness is being hated alot XD im gonna add more characters to it and might consider adding quick time events (that was a very good suggestion)
and ye, that slow mo was intentional, i was gonna add sound effect to sho that but was out of time lol
btw , thnx alot for the feed back :D
