I like the idea of how history (or the future) would be changed by not succeeding to save a important person, however like all text adventure games not having any idea as to what the 'acceptable' words are is a real disadvantage here!
You are right, the content for this game was a bit too ambitious for the time I had to complete it. I ended up hacking together a parser. I am going to keep developing this till It is complete.
(I will post another link for the new version when it is completed.)
This would be a lot easier if you had some alternatives that you could connect (in crazy ways). I like that you have a background graphics.
