Correct, Snakey needed some more animations but due to the design we didn't want to emphasize more animations due to the fact that a snake crawls, compare to a more complex animal such as a dog where there is legs and joints to move.

not sure if there was suppose to be music or not i didn't hear any. i was running it in chrome. it was an ok game just felt lacking. i liked the effects when you got high. would have liked to have seen more tie in to evolution what was there just seems tacked in the end. good job for your first time!
