While playing, I was confused by how you lose when "there are still words to add but no place to put them", but you can just cross out the previous number at any time to allow yourself to write any number down. I've re-read the last sentence of rule 4 so I now see how it makes sense, but a step-by-step example might help clarify. Also there's a 6 at the end of the first page that I have no idea where it came from? I think adding a more concrete scoring limit would make the process a bit more game-y. Each unbroken sequence of 5-4-3-2 gets you a point? Maybe add the number of monosyllabic words in a row for a greater range of numbers? |
