| Aug 25 17:37:00 | Interplanetary | Awesome! While scrolling past the new posts I saw your post mortem, I paused because I thought it looked like my game (the bullets look similar to the messages in my game, and the orbiting planets). But it's a totally different game. Very well done, the music is awesome! It's a tad difficult, but hey, I'm a space pirate hunter pro after playing this. | |
| Aug 25 17:48:00 | 11m 00s | Close Your Eyes | Cool! Nice mechanic with a great execution, I love the visuals. |
| Aug 26 06:28:00 | 12h 40m | Saphenous | Reminds me of the game I set out to make, but ended up changing it around completely because it was too complex. You guys managed to do it somehow, and it is well done! The music fits the game perfectly, the movement is a bit slow. Sometimes ships would get stuck when passing eachother (screenshot http://puu.sh/b8hKm/05fc363d9b.jpg).

I'd love to play a post-compo version of this. |
| Aug 26 06:43:00 | 15m 00s | Elemental Connection | Great puzzle games, new mechanics are introduced at a rate that is managable. It's fun and requires some out of the box thinking, it was sometimes however not clear which lines could cross and which could not.

Managed to finish it :) |
| Aug 26 07:08:00 | 25m 00s | Shooting Planets | Good work on the game, the leaderboards are a cool addition and give it more replay value. It's quite difficult, everything is very fast, but hey, many games in LD are.

The art is fine for a programmer, everything in my game is basically particles too :P |
| Aug 26 07:19:00 | 11m 00s | Connecting LD30 to the Real World | Awesome |
| Aug 26 07:39:00 | 20m 00s | Hide! | Awesome game. I love the graphics, the music is great too (although very loud). It is very unforgiving, which makes it pretty hard. |
| Aug 26 11:26:00 | 3h 47m | Space Haulers LLC | It works fine, the controls are unlike anything I have ever played before and took a long time of getting used to, but that is what made the game fun. I was happy when I finally delivered my first shipment after a few close calls! |
| Aug 26 11:27:00 | 1m 00s | SpaceM | Wish I had a webcam for this :c |
| Aug 27 01:30:00 | 14h 03m | Arktrail | You managed to pull off something quite big and beautiful, good job! It was hard to understand what I was supposed to be doing, as my crew kept dying of slugs, lack of food or age. |
| Aug 27 14:13:00 | 12h 43m | Alma | That was pretty unique.

There are quite a few things that could need improvement:
It was hard to read the text, it kept resetting it seemed, and it wasn't clear what exactly happened upon clicking objects.

I have attempted the game some 4 times (2 times unfixed, 2 times fixed version), On the first playthrough the prison door just opened without having done the puzzle. The second one I completed the puzzle, but couldn't get the door to open.
The third the same deal, the fourth I got to the darkness part, but then I ended up in the prison again.

Music or sound didn't work for me (tried in firefox and chrome). I was able to find the music in the source however, so played that in the background.

Aside from those downsides, it's not bad for a first entry! Especially considering how ambitious it is. It was quite funny and entertaining because of the silly bugs, the music was not bad at all.

I hope it was the end (the fadeout part, which also happened multiple times as I was clicking randomly), as I try to give every game a fair shot at completion :). Good job! |
| Aug 27 20:36:00 | 6h 23m | Lava Is Last | Pretty hard, but I managed to beat it the third try (with some lucky guesses here and there). I wonder if the flashing planets were intended? The sound effects were top notch :) |
